Laser Tattoo Removal

Many Generation Diamond participants find that some of their tattoos keep them attached to communities and habits they want to distance from. Some tattoos also greatly limit opportunities for stable employment. Tattoo removal provides an opportunity to avoid further consequences of damaging past choices.

Generation Diamond offers low-cost and free tattoo removal services, on site, for participants who qualify.

HOW LASER TATTOO REMOVAL WORKS

Laser tattoo removal is a non-invasive procedure that uses advanced light energy to safely penetrate the skin and remove tattoo ink without additional scarring. The laser emits ultra-short, fast pulsed, high-energy light onto ink particles trapped in the skin, shattering them into tiny fragments naturally removed by the body over the weeks following treatment.

Multiple treatments are usually needed to penetrate deeper into the ink layers with each treatment, resulting in significant fading and virtually complete removal. Treatments are spaced a minimum of 6 weeks apart to ensure proper healing.

THE ASTANZA Trinity LASER

Generation Diamond tattoo removal technicians are in-house personnel specially trained on our Astanza Trinity laser to work quickly and safely on all skin types. Trusted by leading physicians, dermatologists, medical spas and tattoo artists around the world, the Astanza Trinity delivers unparalleled tattoo removal results.

The Trinity uses three essential wavelengths. One, used on virtually every tattoo removal, works best on dark pigments like black, dark brown and dark blues. The other targets warmer pigments like red and orange. The third treats bright blue and green pigments with the powerful ruby wavelength.

MINIMAL PAIN WITH THE ZIMMER CRYO MACHINE

We, at Generation Diamond, care about more than just erasing tattoos—we place great importance on client comfort. Our technicians use the Zimmer Cryo Cooling Machine, the #1 skin-numbing solution for reducing pain and swelling, so clients can relax during treatment. The Zimmer Cryo cools the skin with a consistent, -30º C air stream for a numbing sensation that provides continuous relief before, during and after the laser is applied.

Before and After

Frequently Asked Questions

How many treatments will I need?

Most tattoos need 5-10 treatments for complete removal, but, since every tattoo is unique, some require fewer or more sessions. Many factors determine the number of treatments required including size, age and location of the tattoo, ink density and composition, skin type and overall health.

How much does laser tattoo removal cost?

Generation Diamond offers laser tattoo removal consultation for free. Many participants qualify for low-cost or even free tattoo removal treatment.

How long are tattoo removal treatments?

The time for a single laser treatment is usually 1-15 minutes depending on the size of the tattoo.

How long does it take to see results?

Significant fading is usually detectable after one or two treatments. Complete removal of a tattoo depends on the number of treatments needed and how quickly treated ink particles flush out between treatments. About 6 to 8 weeks is required between treatments to ensure proper healing.

Is laser tattoo removal safe?

The Astanza Trinity laser is FDA-cleared and trusted by physicians and other professionals. Laser tattoo removal is the safest method for removing unwanted tattoos and our technicians develop custom protocols for each unique client to ensure positive results.

Does laser tattoo removal hurt?

Laser tattoo removal pain is often compared to a rubber band snapping against the skin and sometimes to getting a tattoo applied. Most clients report it is much more tolerable than getting a tattoo. Our technicians use the Zimmer Cryo Cooling Machine to reduce pain and swelling.

Are there any side effects?

Temporary side effects may include natural reactions such as redness, itchiness, swelling, blistering, scabbing and/or pigmentation changes. As long as the provided aftercare instructions are properly followed, skin usually heals with no permanent side effects.
